Presidents Message
A message from our president Howard Yee:
I’m excited for this years Organ Transplant Awareness Program of New Mexico (OTAP)! We have an excellent foundation to build on through the dedicated and diligent efforts of our members led by our Past- President, Philip Lance and 2009 Board of Directors. Last year, 2009, clarified the vision and mission of our organization.
I see opportunities to expand our exposure through implementing sound and efficient procedures and getting everyone involved. It is going to take a lot of hard work, cooperation and commitment to see us achieve our goals. We will operate with income generated from various projects to a level of positive cash flow. We will strive to be highly organized and with organization will come a well- greased operation. Members will be able to utilize their talents in areas where they will feel comfortable.
Our highly-charged Board of Directors will guide us in the right direction with their positive “we can do” attitude. We will have guest speakers at most programs and engage our members through committee work, where most decisions and plans will occur. Members who can’t attend our monthly meetings, are encouraged to serve on OTAP committees to plug in to the many aspects of OTAP.
A friend said to me that our organization is highly commendable and provides a much needed service. I agree 110%. Join me for fun, fellowship and a sense of giving back to our community.
Howard Yee, President
